Normal Operation
The instrument cluster receives the TPMS status from the smart junction box (SJB) over the high speed controller area network (CAN) communication bus. If the TPMS detects a fault condition, the TPMS warning indicator flashes for 30 seconds then turns off until the next ignition cycle. If the TPMS is in TPMS sensor training mode, the TPMS warning indicator flashes continuously until the TPMS sensor training session has ended. See TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS) , .
DTC U2023 - sets if the TPMS message is missing or the data is invalid for more than 5 seconds and the instrument cluster flashes the TPMS warning indicator for 60 seconds and then turns the TPMS warning indicator on.
