| 1 | RETRIEVE THE RECORDED DTCs FROM BOTH THE CONTINUOUS AND ON-DEMAND INSTRUMENT CLUSTER SELF-TESTS

Yes | CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-tests. If DTC B1363 is retrieved again, go to next step. |
| No | The system is operating normally at this time. The concern may have been caused by the ignition switch left too long in the start position. | ||
| 2 | MONITOR SMART JUNCTION BOX (SJB) IGNITION SWITCH POSITION PIDs

Yes | Go to next step. |
| No | See STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES to diagnose the ignition switch inputs to the SJB. | ||
| 3 | CHECK FOR CORRECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER OPERATION
|
Yes | Install a new instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER . Test the system for normal operation. |
| No | The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. | ||
