Normal Operation

The instrument cluster receives the supplemental restraint system (SRS) status from the restraints control module (RCM) over the high speed controller area network (CAN) communication bus. The instrument cluster illuminates the air bag warning indicator upon receipt of a message from the RCM.

DTC U0151 - sets if a missing message from the RCM occurs and the instrument cluster defaults the air bag warning indicator on.
