| 3 | CHECK CIRCUIT (BR/R) FOR AN OPEN

Yes | Go to next step. |
| No | Repair circuit (BR/R) for an open. Test the system for normal operation. | ||
| 4 | CHECK THE GROUND TO THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER

Yes | Go to next step. |
| No | REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. | ||
| 5 | CHECK FOR CORRECT SJB OPERATION

Yes | Install a new SJB. See SMART JUNCTION BOX (SJB) , . Test the system for normal operation. |
| No | The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. | ||
| 6 | CHECK FOR CORRECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER OPERATION

Yes | Install a new instrument cluster. see INSTRUMENT CLUSTER . Test the system for normal operation. |
| No | The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. | ||
