NO COMMUNICATION WITH THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER - PINPOINT TEST REFERENCE

PINPOINT TEST 1		NO COMMUNICATION WITH THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	CHECK THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER VOLTAGE SUPPLY Key OFF. Disconnect: Instrument Cluster 0922-101. Key ON. Using Chart 1 at the end of test, measure the voltage between the instrument cluster, harness side and ground. Are the voltages greater than 10 volts?	Yes	Go to step 2.
1		No	Verify the SJB fuses 9 (5A), 10 (10A), and 33 (5A) are OK. If OK, repair the circuit(s) in question. Test the system for normal operation.
2	CHECK THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER GROUND CIRCUITS FOR AN OPEN Key OFF. Disconnect: Instrument Cluster 0922-102. Key ON. Using Chart 2 at the end of test, measure the resistance between the instrument cluster, harness side and ground. Are the resistances less than 5 ohms?	Yes	See COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK , .
2		No	Repair the circuits) in question. Test the system for normal operation.
