- Inspect the fuel gauge needle does not move after ignition switch is turned off, or display does not indicate F even though fuel tank is full.

- Start the instrument cluster input/output check mode.
- Select the check code 22.
- Display value is 12-129
?

- Perform the check code 23 inspection.
- Is there any malfunction?

Yes |
Replace the instrument cluster. |

- Perform the check code 22 inspection.
- Is there any malfunction?

- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Inspect the instrument cluster connector terminals for poor connection (such as damaged/pulled-out pins, and corrosion).
- Is the terminals are okay?

Replace the instrument cluster. |

Repair or replace the terminal. |

- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK position.
- Remove the instrument cluster.
- Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
- Inspect for continuity the following wiring harness.
- 2M terminal-GND
- 2D terminal-GND
- Is there continuity?

Repair or replace the wiring harness between the instrument cluster and GND. |

- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Inspect the fuel gauge sender unit connector terminals for poor connection (such as damaged/pulled-out pins, and corrosion).
- Is the terminals are okay?

Go to the next step. |
| No |
Repair or replace the terminal. |
| 8 |
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK position.
- Inspect for continuity following the wiring harness between instrument cluster and fuel gauge sender unit.
- 2M terminal-C terminal
- 2D terminal-A terminal Is there continuity?
- Is there continuity?

Yes |
Go to the next step. |
| No |
Inspect the BCM and BCM terminals.
- If there is a malfunction, replace the BCM.
- If there is no malfunction, repair or replace the wiring harness between instrument cluster and fuel gauge sender unit.

- Is fuel gauge sender unit installed properly?

Inspect the fuel gauge sender unit. |

Reinstall the fuel gauge sender unit. |
