TURBINE SHAFT SPEED (TSS) SENSOR

Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.





2. Remove the seven retainers and the LH splash shield.





3. Remove the TSS sensor.
1. Turbine shaft speed sensor electrical connector
2. Turbine shaft speed sensor retaining bolt
3. Turbine shaft speed sensor assembly

Note: Inspect the O-ring seal for nicks or cuts. Install a new seal as necessary.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
