AIR BAG DISPOSAL - DEPLOYED

WARNING: Always wear safety glasses when repairing an air bag supplemental restraint system (SRS) vehicle and when handling an air bag module. This will reduce the risk of injury in the event of an accidental deployment.

1. Dispose of deployed driver or passenger air bag modules using the applicable method. See AIR BAG DISPOSAL - DRIVER, UNDEPLOYED, SCRAPPED VEHICLE or AIR BAG DISPOSAL - PASSENGER, UNDEPLOYED, SCRAPPED VEHICLE.
2. Dispose of deployed side air bag modules and safety belt pretensioners in the same manner as any other part to be scrapped.
