Exhaust Manifold Right Hand Removal / Installation - 3.0L

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See LIFTING .
Disconnect the negative battery cable. See BATTERY DISCONNECT .
Remove the nuts.

Lower the vehicle.
Remove the bolts and the stud bolts.

Remove the exhaust manifold and the exhaust manifold gasket.
Position the exhaust manifold gasket and the exhaust manifold.
Install the bolts and the nuts. Tighten the sequence shown in two steps:
Tightening torque

10 N.m {82 kgf.cm, 8 ft lbf}

Tightening torque

20 - 25 N.m {1.5 - 1.8 kgf.m, 15 - 18 ft.lbf}

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
