PCV Valve Removal / Installation - 2.3L

1. Remove the LH front wheel and tire. See WHEEL AND TIRE .

   CAUTION:

   • Remove the electrical connector locators from the splash shield prior to removal.
2. Remove the left side inner fender well splash shield.
   1. Remove the screws.
   2. Remove the pushpin.
   3. Remove the bolts.
   4. Remove the splash shield.

3. Disconnect the coolant bypass hose from the routing clip.

4. Gently pry the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve cap off the two tabs.

5. Remove the PCV valve from the crankcase vent oil separator and disconnect the vacuum hose.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
