Removal Note

  1. Remove the axle shaft. See AXLE SHAFT REAR (LIMITED SLIP) REMOVAL / INSTALLATION  .
    NOTE:
    • If the wheel bearing oil seal is leaking, the axle housing vent may be plugged with debris.
  2. Use impact slide hammer SST  , rear axle bearing remover SST  and adapter SST  to remove the rear axle bearing and wheel bearing oil seal.
