Exhaust Manifold Left Hand Removal / Installation

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. See LIFTING .
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. See BATTERY DISCONNECT .
- Remove the bolts.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Disconnect the hoses from the differential pressure feedback EGR transducer.
- Disconnect the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.
- Disconnect the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube from the EGR valve and remove the EGR valve to exhaust manifold tube.
- Remove the exhaust manifold nuts.
- Remove the exhaust manifold and the exhaust manifold gasket.
- Position the exhaust manifold and the exhaust manifold gasket.
- Tighten the nuts in order shown.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
