Water Temperature Sender Unit Removal / Installation - 2.3L

Disconnect the negative battery cable. See BATTERY DISCONNECT .
Drain the cooling system. See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT - 2.3L .

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.
NOTE:
- Coat the threads with pipe thread sealant.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
