| 4 | CHECK THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE (4WD) OPERATION

Yes | If 4WD LOW indicator, go to step 7. If 4WD indicator, go to next step. |
| No | See TRANSFER CASE ELECTRONIC SHIFT ON - BOARD DIAGNOSIS to continue diagnosis of the 4WD system. | ||

| 9 | CHECK FOR CORRECT 4WD MODULE OPERATION

Yes | Install a new 4WD module. See 4WD CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL / INSTALLATION . Test the system for normal operation. |
| No | The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. | ||
| 10 | CHECK FOR CORRECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER OPERATION
