Yes | Go to step 6. |
| No | If the driver circuit is suspected, go to next step. If the passenger circuit is suspected, go to step 5. | ||
| 3 | CHECK THE SJB (DRIVER SIDE) FOR OPERATION

Yes | Go to step 7. |
| No | Go to next step. | ||
| 4 | CHECK CIRCUIT (LG/B) FOR AN OPEN

Yes | Go to step 8. |
| No | Repair circuit (LG/B) for an open. Test the system for normal operation. | ||
| 5 | CHECK THE SJB (PASSENGER SIDE) FOR OPERATION

Yes | Go to step 7. |
| No | Go to next step. | ||
| 6 | CHECK CIRCUIT (Y/LG) FOR AN OPEN

Yes | Go to next step. |
| No | Repair circuit (Y/LG) for an open. Test the system for normal operation. | ||
| 7 | CHECK FOR CORRECT SJB OPERATION
|
Yes | Install a new SJB. See SMART JUNCTION BOX (SJB) . Test the system for normal operation. |
| No | The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. | ||
| 8 | CHECK FOR CORRECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER OPERATION

Yes | Install a new instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER . Test the system for normal operation. |
| No | The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. | ||
