Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve Inspection

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the PCV valve. (See POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION (PCV) VALVE REMOVAL NOTE ).
  2. Blow through the valve and verify that air flows as specified.
    • If not as specified, replace the PCV valve.

    Condition Airflow
    Air applied from port A to B Yes
    Air applied from port B to A No
