Engine Disassembly/Assembly

  1. Remove the engine from the transaxle. (See MANUAL TRANSAXLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  2. Remove the intake-air system. (See INTAKE AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  3. Remove the exhaust system. (See EXHAUST SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  4. Remove the generator. (See GENERATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [L3 WITH TC] ).
  5. Remove the starter. (See STARTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  6. Remove the CKP sensor. (See CRANKSHAFT POSITION (CKP) SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
