DTC 01 - DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES INSPECTION CHART

DTC 01	Seat belt switch on/off signal
STEP	INSPECTION	INDICATION	ACTION
1	Pull the driver's side seat belt.	on	Check the seat belt switch. Check the wiring harness. (Instrument cluster - seat belt switch)
1	Pull the driver's side seat belt.	oFF	Go to next step.
2	Release the driver's side seat belt.	on	Input signal to instrument cluster is okay.
2	Release the driver's side seat belt.	oFF	Check the seat belt switch. Check the wiring harness. (Instrument cluster - seat belt switch)

DTC 04 - DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES INSPECTION CHART

DTC 04	Door switch on/off signal
STEP	INSPECTION	INDICATION	ACTION
1	Open the driver's side door.	on	Close the driver's side door, then go to next step.
1	Open the driver's side door.	oFF	Check the door switch. Check the wiring harness. (Instrument cluster - door switch)
2	Open the passenger's side door.	on	Close the passenger's side door, then go to next step.
2	Open the passenger's side door.	oFF	Check the door switch. Check the wiring harness. (Instrument cluster - door switch)
3	Close all doors.	on	Check the door switch. Check the wiring harness. (Instrument cluster - door switch)
3	Close all doors.	oFF	Input signal to instrument cluster is okay.

DTC 08 - DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES INSPECTION CHART

DTC 08	TNS relay on/off signal
STEP	INSPECTION	INDICATION	ACTION
1	Turn the headlight switch to TNS position.	on	Go to next step.
1	Turn the headlight switch to TNS position.	oFF	Check the TNS relay. Check the wiring harness. (Battery - TNS relay - instrument cluster)
2	Turn the headlight switch to OFF.	on	Check the TNS relay. Check the wiring harness. (Battery - TNS relay - instrument cluster)
2	Turn the headlight switch to OFF.	oFF	Input signal to instrument cluster is okay.

DTC 14 - DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES INSPECTION CHART

DTC 14	Operation signal to buzzer
INSPECTION	INDICATION	SITUATION	ACTION
Wait for 2 seconds after selecting DTC 14.	(No indication)	Buzzer continuously sounds.	Buzzer is okay.
Wait for 2 seconds after selecting DTC 14.	(No indication)	Buzzer does not continuously sound.	Replace the odometer/tripmeter.

DTC 31 - DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES INSPECTION CHART

DTC 31	Key reminder switch on/off, signal
STEP	INSPECTION	INDICATION	ACTION
1	Insert the key into steering lock.	on	Go to next step.
1	Insert the key into steering lock.	oFF	Check the key reminder switch. Check the wiring harness. (Battery - key reminder switch - instrument cluster)
2	Remove the key from steering lock.	on	Check the key reminder switch. Check the wiring harness. (Battery - key reminder switch - instrument cluster)
2	Remove the key from steering lock.	oFF	Input signal to instrument cluster is okay.
