Leaf Spring Rear Suspension Removal/Installation

Raise the vehicle and install safety stands; See LIFTING .
Remove the rear wheels; See WHEEL AND TIRE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .
Use the Hi-Lift Jack to support the rear axle.

Remove the nuts, U-bolts and spring plate.
1. Carefully lower the rear axle and remove the rear spring spacer, if equipped.

Remove the nuts, bolts and the spring.

Install in reverse order of removal.
