Clutch Bleed Procedure - On-Vehicle

  1. Using SST  T88T-70522-A or equivalent, disconnect the quick connect coupler.
  2. Depress the internal mechanism of the male quick connect coupling.
    1. Slowly depress the clutch pedal to the floor and hold.
  3. Release the internal mechanism of the male quick release coupler.
  4. Repeat steps  2 and  3 four times.
  5. Connect the quick connect coupler.
  6. Close the clutch master cylinder reservoir.
    1. Stroke the clutch pedal as fast as possible for five to ten strokes.
  7. Wait one to three minutes.
    1. Repeat step  6 three times.
  8. Loosen the clutch slave cylinder bleeder screw.
    1. Slowly depress and hold the clutch pedal.

  9. Tighten the clutch slave cylinder bleeder screw. Release the clutch pedal.
