Engine Air Cleaner Removal/Installation - 2.3L

  1. Remove the tube from the mass air flow (MAF) sensor.

  2. Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector.

    NOTE:
    • Pry the engine air cleaner from the base.
  3. Remove the engine air cleaner assembly.
    NOTE:
    • Clean the engine air cleaner with a dry, clean cloth.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
