Valve Cover (RH) Installation

CAUTION:
  • Do not clean the valve cover gasket with solvent. Damage to the valve cover gasket may occur.

  1. Clean all the mating surfaces.

  2. Install the valve cover gasket if removed.

    NOTE:
    • If the valve cover is not installed within four minutes, remove the sealant and reapply.
  3. Apply a bead of silicone in two places where the cylinder head and lower intake manifold meet.

  4. Install the valve cover.
    • Position the valve cover.
    • Tighten the eight bolts in the sequence shown.
