Valve Cover - (LH) Removal/Installation - 3.0L: Notes

Remove the upper intake manifold. See INTAKE MANIFOLD UPPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 3.0L .
Disconnect the left hand spark plug wireholders.

Disconnect the engine control harness from the valve cover.

Remove the three bolts and the five stud bolts.

NOTE:
- To prevent stretching the valve cover gasket, loosen silicone gasket and sealant from the cylinder head by sliding a flat knife between the valve cover gasket and cylinder head.
Remove the valve cover.

Remove the valve cover gasket, if required.

Install in the reverse order of removal.
