Camshaft Bearings: Removal

Remove engine. See ENGINE . Remove camshaft and crankshaft. See CAMSHAFT and CRANKSHAFT . Remove camshaft rear bearing plug. Remove camshaft bearings with Camshaft Bearing Remover/Installer (T65L-6250-A).
NOTE:
When installing NEW camshaft bearings, ensure 2 larger outside diameter bearings are installed in front and rear bores.
