| 2 | CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE HEADLAMP SWITCH

Yes | Go to step 4. |
| No | Go to step 3. | ||
| 3 | CHECK THE VOLTAGE FROM THE SMART JUNCTION BOX (SJB)
|
Yes | Repair the circuit. Test the system for normal operation. |
| No | Go to step 7. | ||
| 4 | CHECK CIRCUIT V/LB FOR AN OPEN
|
Yes | RECONNECT the headlamp switch. Go to step 5. |
| No | Repair the circuit. Test the system for normal operation. | ||
| 5 | CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH
|
Yes | Install a new multifunction switch. See MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION . Test the system for normal operation. |
| No | Install a new headlamp switch. See MAIN LIGHT SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION . Test the system for normal operation. | ||
| 6 | CHECK THE MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH

Yes | Turn the headlamp switch to off. Go to step 7. |
| No | Install a new multifunction switch. See MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION . Test the system for normal operation. | ||
| 7 | CHECK FOR CORRECT SJB OPERATION
|
Yes | Install a new SJB. Test the system for normal operation. |
| No | The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. | ||
