| 2 | CHECK THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) WARNING INDICATOR CONTROL CIRCUIT

Yes | Go to step 5. |
| No | Go to step 3. | ||
| 3 | CHECK CIRCUIT DG FOR AN OPEN
|
Yes | Go to step 4. |
| No | Repair the circuit. Test the system for normal operation. | ||
| 4 | CHECK FOR CORRECT INSTRUMENT CLUSTER OPERATION
|
Yes | Install a new instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION . Clear the DTCs. REPEAT the PCM self-test. |
| No | The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. Clear the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. |

| 5 | CHECK FOR CORRECT ABS MODULE OPERATION

Yes | Install a new ABS module. See ABS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION . Clear the DTCs. REPEAT the PCM self-test. |
| No | The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test. |
