| No | REFER to Stoplamps, See SYMPTOM TROUBLESHOOTING CHART - STOPLAMP. . | ||
| 3 | CHECK CIRCUIT LB FOR A SHORT TO GROUND
|
Yes | Repair the circuit. Test the system for normal operation. |
| No | Go to step 4. | ||
| 4 | CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE INDICATOR FLASHER
|
Yes | Go to step 6. |
| No | Go to step 5. | ||
| 5 | CHECK CIRCUIT O/Y FOR AN OPEN
|
Yes | Go to step 8. |
| No | Repair the circuit. Test the system for normal operation. | ||
| 6 | CHECK CIRCUIT LB FOR AN OPEN
|
Yes | Go to step 7. |
| No | Repair the circuit. Test the system for normal operation. | ||
| 7 | CHECK THE MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH
|
Yes | Go to step 11. |
| No | Replace the multifunction switch. See MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION . | ||
| 8 | CHECK FOR CORRECT SMART JUNCTION BOX (SJB) OPERATION
|
Yes | Install a new SJB. Test the system for normal operation. |
| No | The system is operating correctly at this time. The concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. | ||
| 9 | CHECK THE MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH FOR A SHORT TO POWER
|
Yes | Go to step 10. |
| No | Replace the multifunction switch. See MULTI-FUNCTION SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION . Test the system for normal operation. | ||
| 10 | CHECK CIRCUIT LB FOR A SHORT TO POWER
|
Yes | Repair the circuit. Test the system for normal operation. |
| No | Install a new indicator flasher. Test the system for normal operation. | ||
| 11 | CHECK CIRCUIT B FOR AN OPEN
|
Yes | Install a new indicator flasher. Test the system for normal operation. |
| No | Repair the circuit. Test the system for normal operation. | ||
