Removal & Installation

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disconnect negative battery cable. Loosen tilt lever and lower steering column. Position automatic transmission gearshift lever in down position, if equipped.
- Remove screws and instrument cluster finish panel. Remove instrument panel screws and disconnect electrical connectors. Remove instrument cluster.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Connect negative battery cable. Check AIR BAG warning light for proper system function. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
