Evaporative Gas (Two-Way) Check Valve - Protege & Protege5

Remove check valve, located next to charcoal canister under vehicle at spare tire well. See Figure. Connect Air Pressure Tester (49-U014-001) to port "A" of evaporative gas (two-way) check valve. Apply 0.99 kPa of air pressure to port "A". See Fig 1. Air should flow from port "B". Apply air pressure to port "C". Air should flow from port "A". If airflow is not as specified, replace evaporative gas (two-way) check valve.
