On returnless systems, regulator is inside fuel tank. On all models except Miata, pressure regulator is an integral part of fuel pump. On Miata, pressure regulator is mounted to fuel pump and sending unit assembly and may be replaced seperately. See Fig 1. See appropriate procedure under FUEL PUMP .
