Removal & Installation (Millenia 2.3L)

Knock Sensor (KS) is located under Lysholm compressor, between cylinder banks. See LYSHOLM COMPRESSOR (MILLENIA 2.3L) for removal and installation procedure of Lysholm compressor. Disconnect KS harness connector. Use tool (49-H018-001) to remove and install KS. See Figure. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. When installing (KS), fit harness into drill hole on cylinder block. Pass harness under rubber insulator on left cylinder head. See Fig 1.
