Removal & Installation (Except B2300, Miata & Tribute 2.0L)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is located on front of engine, near crankshaft pulley. See Fig 1-Fig 6 . Remove engine undercover. Disconnect CKP harness connector. Remove sensor bolts and sensor. On Protege and Protege5 models only, some adjustment is possible. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
