Removal & Installation (Millenia 2.5L, MPV & 626 2.5L)

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain engine coolant. Remove air cleaner, Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor and inlet hose. Remove throttle body coolant hoses. Disconnect harness connectors and vacuum hoses from throttle body and upper intake manifold.
- Disconnect EGR valve pipe on Millenia only. Disconnect line and harness brackets.
- Evenly loosen upper intake manifold bolts/nuts. To install, replace upper intake manifold gasket (if necessary). Install upper intake manifold bolts/nuts and tighten in crisscross pattern to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
