Removal and Installation

Raise and support the vehicle. .

Remove and discard the nuts.
- Discard the gasket.

Remove the U-bolt and disconnect the catalytic converter from the hanger.

Remove and discard the nuts from the muffler.
Remove the converter and muffler together.
Separate the converter from the muffler on the floor.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install a new gasket.
- Install new nuts.
