Removal & Installation

Disable air bag system. See DISABLING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM. Refer to illustration to remove front seat assembly components in order listed. See Fig 1 .
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten front seat mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system. See ACTIVATING SYSTEM under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM. Check AIR BAG warning light for proper system function. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
