OBD-II Drive Mode Description

OBD-II drive mode is performed to inspect proper operation and ensure no additional DTCs are present. During drive mode, following OBD-II systems are inspected:

NOTE: DO NOT disconnect battery during and after drive mode. Disconnecting battery will reset memory. If OBD-II system inspection is not completed during drive mode, OBD-II system detects malfunction or drive mode procedure has not been completed correctly.
