DTC P1449: Canister Drain Cut Valve Open Or Short: Condition

DTC is set when PCM detects low or high voltage in Canister Drain Cut Valve (CDCV) system circuit with ignition switch on. This is a diagnostic support DTC, monitored once per key cycle. MIL does not illuminate. Possible causes are:

CDCV malfunction.
Open circuit between main relay and CDCV.
Open or short circuit between PCM and CDCV.
PCM malfunction.
