DTC P0335: Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction: Condition

DTC is set when there is no signal input from Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor for 4.2 seconds while Mass Airflow (MAF) is 2.2 gram/sec. or more. This is a continuous monitor. MIL is illuminated when PCM detects malfunction during first drive cycle. Possible causes are:

CKP sensor dirty.
CKP sensor malfunction.
CKP sensor pulse wheel malfunction.
Open or short circuit between PCM and CKP.
Poor connection at connector terminals.
