Wheel Hub (4X4) Removal/Installation

  1. Removal Note

    Remove the front disc brake DISC & DRUM .
  2. Remove and discard the nut and washer assembly.
    CAUTION: Do not use a hammer to separate the outboard CV joint from the hub. Damage to the outboard CV threads and to internal components may result.
  3. Using the special tool, separate the outboard CV joint from the hub.
  4. Remove the dust shield.
  5. Remove the bolt and detach the anti-lock sensor from the wheel hub.
    CAUTION: Do not overextend the CV joint and boots when removing the hub and bearing assembly.
  6. Remove the bolts (3) and the wheel hub.

  7. Installation Note

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
