Exhaust Sulphur (Rotten Egg) Smell
NOTE:
Slight sulphur smell may be normal. Catalyst with between 5000 and 10,000 miles or less (new vehicles or recently replaced catalyst) are likely to have sulphur smell due to highly active state of new catalyst.
- Check for disconnected or poorly connected electrical connectors.
- Check for charcoal canister malfunction.
- Check for disconnected or incorrect connection of vacuum lines.
- Check for improper fuel pressure.
- Check for poor fuel quality.
