Crankshaft Front Oil Seal Removal/Installation - 2.3L: Removal

  1. Remove the crankshaft pulley. See CRANKSHAFT PULLEY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - 2.3L  .
    2. CAUTION:
    • Use care not to damage the engine front cover or the crankshaft when removing the seal.

  2. Remove the crankshaft front oil seal by prying the seal out of the front cover.
