Removal & Installation (Tribute 3.0L)

NOTE: Numbers in parenthesis refer to numbers in the illustration.
  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the bolts and the right front lower splash shield. See Fig 1.
  3. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor harness connector (1). See Fig 2.
  4. Remove the bolt (2). See Fig 2.
  5. Remove the sensor (3). See Fig 2.
  6. To install, reverse removal procedure. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
