Removal & Installation (B4000)

NOTE: When installing NEW Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor, sensor must be touching damper. CKP sensor has wear tabs that will wear off after several engine revolutions.
NOTE: Numbers in parenthesis refer to numbers in illustration.
  1. Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor harness connector (1). See Fig 1.
  2. Remove the bolts (2). See Fig 1.
  3. Remove the sensor (3). See Fig 1.
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedures. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
