Removal & Installation (B4000)
NOTE:
When installing NEW Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor, sensor must be touching damper. CKP sensor has wear tabs that will wear off after several engine revolutions.
NOTE:
Numbers in parenthesis refer to numbers in illustration.
- Disconnect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor harness connector (1). See Fig 1.
- Remove the bolts (2). See Fig 1.
- Remove the sensor (3). See Fig 1.
- To install, reverse the removal procedures. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
