Activating System

Connect negative battery cable. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Verify AIR BAG warning light illuminates for about 6 seconds and then goes off. If AIR BAG warning light does not respond as described, malfunctions exist in air bag system. Inspect air bag system for faults. See DIAGNOSTICS .
