  1. Open driver's side door. If LCD indication is ON, close driver's side door, and go to next step. If LCD indication is OFF, remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using a DVOM, measure voltage between instrument cluster connector No. 1, terminal 1I and ground. See Figure . If voltage is zero volts, replace instrument cluster. If voltage is present, check driver's side door switch, and wiring harness. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair or replace as necessary. Retest system.
  2. Open passenger's side door. If LCD indication is ON, close passenger's side door, and go to next step. If LCD indication is OFF, measure voltage between instrument cluster connector No. 1, terminal 1I and ground. See Figure . If voltage is zero volts, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If voltage is present, check passenger's side door switch and wiring harness. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair or replace as necessary. Retest system.
  3. Open rear door on driver's side. If LCD indication is ON, close rear door on driver's side, and go to next step. If LCD indication is OFF, measure voltage between instrument cluster connector No. 1, terminal 1I and ground. See Figure . If voltage is zero volts, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If voltage is present, check driver's side rear door switch and wiring harness. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair or replace as necessary. Retest system.
  4. Open rear door on passenger's side. If LCD indication is ON, close rear door on passenger's side, and go to next step. If LCD indication is OFF, measure voltage between instrument cluster connector No. 1, terminal 1I and ground. See Figure . If voltage is zero volts, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If voltage is present, check rear passenger's side door switch and wiring harness. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair or replace as necessary. Retest system.
  5. Open liftgate. If LCD indication is ON, close liftgate, and go to next step. If LCD indication is OFF, measure voltage between instrument cluster connector No. 1, terminal 1I and ground. See Figure . If voltage is zero volts, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If voltage is present, check liftgate switch and wiring harness. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair or replace as necessary. Retest system.
  6. Close all doors. If LCD indication is ON, measure voltage between instrument cluster connector No. 1, terminal 1I and ground. See Figure . If battery voltage is present, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If battery voltage is not present, check all door switches and wiring harnesses. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair or replace as necessary. Retest system. If LCD indication is OFF, input signal to instrument cluster is okay.
