Test No. 18: Brake System Warning Light Does Not Illuminate With Brake Fluid Below Minimum

- Disconnect brake fluid level sensor connector. Check for continuity between ground and brake fluid level sensor connector terminal "B". See Fig 1 . Turn ignition switch to ON position. If brake system warning light illuminates, go to next step. If brake system warning light does not illuminate, repair wiring between instrument cluster and brake fluid level sensor.
- Check for continuity between ground and brake fluid level sensor connector terminal "A". If continuity exists, replace brake fluid level sensor. If continuity does not exist, repair wiring between ground and brake fluid level sensor.
