Possible Causes

- ACP circuit open (DTCs P1461, P1462).
- ACP circuit shorted to ground (DTC P1462).
- ACP circuit short to SIGRTN (DTCs P1461, P1462).
- ACP circuit short to VREF (DTC P1461).
- A/C clutch always engaged (DTC P1463).
- ACP sensor circuit shorted to power (DTC P1461).
- A/C system electrical failure (DTC P1463).
- A/C system mechanical failure (DTC P1463).
- Damaged ACP sensor (DTCs P1461, P1462).
- Damaged PCM (DTCs P1461, P1462).
- Open ACP or VREF circuit (DTC P1463).
- VREF circuit open (DTC P1462).
