Detection Condition

DTC P0300 indicates multiple cylinders are misfiring or PCM cannot identify which cylinder is misfiring.
DTCs P0301-P0306 indicates random misfire detected or identified cylinder misfire is detected. DTC number indicates cylinder number.
DTC P0315 indicates PCM is unable to learn and correct for mechanical inaccuracies in crankshaft pulse wheel tooth spacing. DTC will disable misfire monitor.
DTC P0316 indicates a type "B" misfire has been detected within first 1000 revolution test interval following engine start. Indicates that there are other misfire DTCs.
