Installation (Mazda6 3.0L)

  1. Install the variable valve timing actuator using a NEW bolt.
  2. Secure the camshaft sprocket in a vise using the SST. See Figure.
  3. Tighten the variable valve timing actuator bolt in 2 steps. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
