Removal & Installation (Miata)

CAUTION:
DO NOT forcefully pull the wiring harness of the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor.
- Disconnect the CKP sensor connector.
- Remove the undercover.
- Remove the CKP sensor installation bolt.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Adjust the air gap. While moving the CKP sensor, adjust the air gap between the CKP sensor and the 4 projections on the plate using a feeler gauge. See Fig 1. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
